However, a challenge is that what we learn is all too easily forgotten!
Without review, our retention declines over time. Perhaps you’re also aware that without focused application, there is often a gap between knowing what to do and actually implementing it in practice.
The purpose and intention of Thrive’s action learning approach is to offer you a simple process through which you can overcome the forgetting curve and confidently bridge the knowing-doing gap with support.
The exact design will depend on your context and circumstances but will often include:
- Attending a workshop and accessing the eLearning platform provided within 24 hours to complete a self-assessment.
- Reviewing workshop materials and exploring our curated list of optional content
- Meeting with your learning partner to reflect on your understanding and plan your action-learning
- Conducting your deliberate practice, followed by a review with your learning partner to discuss the action you took, your experience and insights and how you will integrate the practice into your organisational and private life.
- Completing a self-assessment to set clear and precise KPI’s for your ongoing focus and mindful development.
